Vancouver Artist Sam Siegel
Hi, I'm Sam Siegel. Welcome to my 'sketchbook'. If you haven't seen my work, I am a Vancouver, BC artist. I paint abstract landscapes, and contemporary modern art. I also operate my own art gallery, 'Sam's Original Art'. We're located at 1736 West 2nd Ave, near the city's famous 'Granville Island' marketplace.I started Sam's Original Art so I could make high-quality original art available to anyone. At our gallery, we showcase all of my original paintings, as well as limited edition giclée canvas prints. And by the way, our giclée prints are virtually indistinguishable from my original artworks. Thus, we can provide our customers with a price-point that won't 'break the bank'! Come say 'hi' and have a look at my work.
Anyhow, let me show you a little bit about how I get inspired. Living in Vancouver, we're surrounded by unparalleled beauty. From Whistler Mountain to Spanish Banks, Stanley Park to Kitsilano, the forests, mountains, and seascape are stunning! Therefore, I always carry a sketchbook with me. My job is to reinterpret some of that beauty in my artwork, and I truly love my job! My latest series of paintings focuses on the amazing forested areas throughout Greater Vancouver. So have a look at some of my sketches below, and see how I develop some of my painting ideas.
