The north end of Blanca Street, which borders Vancouver’s UBC properties, ends in a most charming and picturesque cul-de-sac. In his painting entitled ‘Blanca Street’, Sam has perfectly captured that charm. With its luscious and ‘upbeat’ color palette and intriguing ‘crosshair’ design, Blanca Street is instantly attractive, and one of my favorite Sam Siegel paintings.
