Van Go | Collector Series:

Those who know Sam Siegel’s work will be familiar with his unique ‘trademark’ treatment of foliage, which typically displays his reimagined sense of playful ‘jellybean’ like colors. That sense of playfulness is certainly on display in one of his earlier paintings, entitled ‘Stoked’, which curiously features a stop sign peeking out from behind a tree trunk. ‘Van Go’ is another delightful parkland vista, but this time the curiosity takes the form of a green traffic signal, as if to say “go green”!
