Contemporary Canadian Landscapes

Posted by Sam Siegel on

I'm a Vancouver, BC artist, and I regularly go hiking and camping in and around our local mountain terrain. I like to re-imagining the amazingly beautiful landscapes I encounter throughout our 'Great Northwest'. My art is not meant to be an exact replication, but rather more like a vision, of our local landscape vistas. For all my friends and neighbors who live in the area, it's familiar art that will make you feel 'right at home'. And for those of you who may be visiting, it's a keepsake to remind you of Nature's never-ending glory, and, hopefully, of the wonderful time you had while here. So this little video will give you an idea of what my 'work day' is like. I hope you enjoy it, and if you're anywhere in the greater Vancouver area, I invite you to come down to my gallery, and see my work 'in person'!

Since opening SamsOriginalArt gallery in 2016, I've been fortunate enough to have a constantly growing fan base of folks who admire my work, not just in Canada, but also in the US, Europe, and even as far away as Australia. So, to all of you, I want to take this moment to give you my humble and heart-felt 'thank you'! And, for those of you who may not be familiar with my work, I put together this short little video that I hope will pique your interest.
