SamsOriginalArt.com is redefining the experience of buying art. We exclusively sell artwork by Vancouver artist Sam Siegel. Specializing in limited edition giclee canvas prints of his work. We believe shopping for high-quality artwork should be easy, affordable, and hassle-free. We stand behind our product. The editions are per painting not per size. For example if the edition is 30, there will only be 30 total in existence. As soon as the last edition (30 in this case) is ordered it will be discontinued and sold out. We make them to order and we number the editions at that time. That way we can always offer any size a customer would like to purchase before it sells out.
It will state on the product page if it's an edition of 30 or 50.
Once sold out they will no longer be available to purchase. We only release a very limited number of editions for each painting, all numbered and signed. I try to release 1-2 new paintings each month. To be notified when new paintings become available, you can subscribe to our email newsletter!

Giclee prints are very special: they can be found in the world's finest museums, art galleries and private art collections and should be treasured and cared for in the same way as an original piece of art.
Giclee prints carefully reproduce the rich colours and beautiful detail of each brush stroke of the original painting and any imperfections that you may see on the print are a feature of the original painting and exact reflection of the nature of the painted surfaces of paintings.
We rarely have sales but you can sign up to our newsletter (at the bottom of the page) which will notify you when there are new sales and paintings. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

In most cases, your order will be delivered by Fed-Ex. If there is no one available to accept delivery when the courier arrives, they will leave it at your door. In cases where the courier deems it to be unsafe to leave the package, they will leave a notice with further instructions on how to retrieve your package (Fed-Ex will store your package at their nearest outlet for up to 7 days).
Yes, we now ship globally! However, we only offer free shipping within Canada and the continental United States only. For other destinations, please contact us for a quote!

In most cases, your order will be delivered by Fed-Ex. You can expect it to ship within 10 to 14 business days from date of purchase.
Our sales staff will be closely monitoring your order, and will notify you with any important information regarding delivery. You should receive an email with the tracking number in 10 business days from placing your order.

We specialize in making the highest quality canvas prints on the market. Our special blend of cotton canvas is designed to meet art galleries’ and museum’s longevity requirements.
The very nature of a natural product such as cotton canvas means that there will be imperfections (lumps and bumps) in the surface of the canvas caused by the variations in the cotton threads that make up the canvas. This is normal and a feature of cotton canvas.
Likewise, any imperfections that you may see on the print are a feature of the original painting and as such a reflection of the nature of the painted surfaces of original paintings.
Most of our products are eligible for return for a period of 14 days from time of delivery (‘Final-Sale’ items are not returnable; we cannot accept returns after the 14-day cut-off).
Step 1 – Call us at 604-738-1223 to notify us that you wish to return the product (we’re open 11 am – 5 pm PST, Tuesday to Saturday).
Step 2 – If eligible for return, Please repackage the artwork in it's original packaging, and securely affix the Return Label to the outside of the box.
Step 3 – Ship your return package using a reputable shipping company (include tracking number; SamsOriginalArt will not be responsible for lost or undelivered returns).
Step 4 – Email the shipping details, including tracking number, to email@example.com
SamsOriginalArt will process your return, and the amount of purchase will be refunded to your original source of payment (in the same currency and exchange rate as your original order) upon receipt of the returned merchandise.
* Returns on original paintings and oversized artwork may require a 20% restocking fee.
Step 1 – Take photos of both the damaged artwork AND the packaging, and email the photos to firstname.lastname@example.org
Step 2 – Upon receiving the photos of the damage, SamsOriginalArt will email you a pre-printed Return Label.
Step 3 – Once we have received the damaged product, we will promptly ship you an identical product.
For those of you who like my work but don’t see exactly what you would like on our website, I would be more than happy to do a ‘commissioned’ painting for you. Please be aware though, that any commissioned painting is done with the understanding that you agree to the following terms:
1. I will do my utmost best to paint your commissioned work based on your description (you can even submit a photo depicting the scene you would like). I will, however, always adhere to my own ‘style’ and artistic intuition, as evidenced in my body of work.
2. The base price for my commissioned works is $4-$5/sq. inch. The exact price, however, may fluctuate, depending on the size, details, and intricacy of the painting. A final price will always be agreed upon before I begin.
3. Once a final price is determined, we require a $1000.00 (*non-refundable) deposit; upon completion, and only if you are happy with the final product, the balance is due, and it becomes a non-returnable, final sale.
4. *If, however, you are not happy with your commissioned painting, there will be no balance due, and your deposit will be applied as a store credit towards any of my other current or future works.
5. We reserve the right to make and sell limited edition giclée canvas prints of the commissioned painting. Please expect your painting to take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete.
